Who I Am
I’m a senior SEO content strategist and writer with more than 20 years of experience. I help companies explain complicated products, services, and ideas in a way that people can actually understand.
My work sits somewhere between strategy, writing, research, editing, and problem‑solving. I’m good at seeing the real problem behind a brief, figuring out what the audience needs, and turning that into content that actually helps people and supports the business.
I’ve worked across SaaS, technology, automotive, healthcare, finance, education, and digital publishing. I’m especially good at content that requires accuracy, judgment, and a willingness to learn the subject instead of skimming a few search results and filling in the blanks.
What I Do
I design and deliver connected content programs that serve real people and support measurable business growth. I work across the full content lifecycle, from audience research and editorial planning through production, distribution, optimization, governance, and performance analysis.
This includes:
SEO strategy and keyword research
Content planning and detailed briefs
Long‑form articles, guides, and resources
Landing pages, case studies, and sales‑enablement assets
Technical, regulated, and compliance‑sensitive content
Content audits and optimization roadmaps
Internal linking and on‑page SEO improvements
Editing, QA, and content governance
Performance analysis and ongoing iteration
I build content systems that connect search, brand, and the customer journey across websites, blogs, email, newsletters, social media, and long‑form resources.
The Results
Over the course of my career, I have:
Managed an individual content portfolio generating more than 1 million monthly pageviews
Remediated more than 200 legacy articles and achieved 100% FTC disclosure accuracy
Increased qualified leads by 28% and conversion rates by 15%
Written YouTube scripts that generated about 80,000 organic views and increased subscriber counts by an average of 169%
Built AI‑assisted workflows that reduced manual content‑update time by about 40%
I care about results, but I also care about how those results are achieved. A page that ranks but misleads the reader is not good content. Neither is a beautifully written article that does nothing for the business.
How I Work
I ask a lot of questions at the beginning because I want to understand the actual problem before I start producing work.
Who is the audience? What do they already know? What are they trying to do? What does the business need from the content? What claims can we support? What would make the page more useful than the ten pages already ranking for the same topic?
Once I understand that, I work quickly and independently. I’m comfortable interviewing subject‑matter experts, partnering with internal teams, learning unfamiliar systems, managing high‑volume assignments, and moving between strategy, writing, editing, and optimization.
I also tend to notice where the process itself is creating unnecessary work. I’ve built workflows, coordinated writers and contractors, managed large content libraries, and helped teams create more consistent standards for quality, compliance, and production.
How I Got Here
I grew up in a New England print shop, so publishing and small‑business problem‑solving were part of my life early.
My career has not followed one narrow path. I’ve worked as a writer, a STEM educator, and an automotive shop manager. I’ve written for major digital publications, worked with enterprise clients, created content for SaaS and technology companies, and handled subjects ranging from cybersecurity and healthcare to vehicle systems and regulatory compliance.
That range is part of what makes me good at this work. I learn quickly, recognize what matters, and explain it without overwhelming the reader.
What I’m Looking For
I’m currently open to full-time roles, contract work, and select freelance opportunities.
I’m a strong fit for teams that need someone who can think strategically, collaborate well, work independently, and take responsibility for the finished result.
